Summer Slaughter Tour 2012

     Though Summer Slaughter Tour is only six years old, it may in fact be the heaviest and most extreme annual metal tour (at least in the U.S.). (Please feel free to contest that @JAFThrasher or at longhairedpoet@gmail.com.)

     The Summer Slaughter tour started in the U.S. in 2001 and was founded by Ash Avildsen (whom I believe is also the founder of Sumerian Records). After 2001 it did not return to the U.S. until 2007 and has persisted in the U.S. every year since. It has also been consistent in Canada and Europe since 2008 and consistent in Australia and New Zealand since 2009.
