My Letter to Senator Johnny Isakson Concerning ENDA

Senator Johnny Isakson,

I am writing you today concerning Senate Bill number 811. The bill designed to prohibit employment discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity and called The Employment Non-Discrimination Act. This bill is currently in one Senate committee which you sit on, The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. I am writing to you today in hopes that you will encourage your esteemed colleagues to pass this bill onto the Senate floor.
The bill was introduced into the House by Barney Frank and has 163 co-sponsors, respectively, the Senate version was introduced into the Senate by Senator Jeff Merkley and has 41 co-sponsors.
I hope that you will take action on this bill and work toward ending discrimination in the work place.
