WASHINGTON, DC -- The Green Party of the United States has updated its
schedule of press conferences and other events for news media during
the party's 2012 Presidential Nominating Convention in Baltimore, from
July 12 to 15.
The schedule, appended below, now includes lists of Green candidates
and officeholders slated to speak at the press conferences, as well as
other new details, locations, map links, and public transportation
information.
The Green Party encourages journalists to register at the party's
Media Credentialing page
(http://www.gpconvention2012.com/p/media.html), so that organizers can
prepare for their participation and better accommodate them.
Journalists can also register on site at the convention. Bloggers are
welcome to register as members of the media.
Most of the convention will take place at the University of Baltimore,
but the nomination on July 14 will be held at the Holiday Inn Inner
Harbor in downtown Baltimore. The University of Baltimore is across
the street from Penn Station, Baltimore's main train station.
The convention Media Office will be in the University of Baltimore
Business Center, room BC 131 on the first floor. The Business Center
is across the street (West Mt. Royal Avenue) from the Law Center,
where most of the convention will take place.
