ENDA

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Employment_Non-Discrimination_Act

ENDA is a bill that would prohibit discrimination in hiring and employment on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity by civilian, nonreligious employers with at least 15 employees.
Both versions of this bill, in the House and the Senate are stuck in committee, call your Congressperson and Senators and get this bill out of committee and onto the floor!

"Those that dream by night, in the dusty recesses of their mind, wake in the day to find that all was vanity, but the dreamers of the day, are dangerous men, for they may act out their dreams and make them real."

7 Reasons to Vote (and 1 Reason Not To)

Reasons to Vote:
1. It is not a right, it is a delicate privilege
2. It is the best way to protect your freedoms
3. It is the easiest way to speak your mind (Easier than protesting, petitioning, assembling, rioting, rallying, marching or striking. Not to mention, the two party duopoly is a myth that we continually chose to believe in, but that‘s a different blog, to come soon.)
4. You have twelve hours to vote on election day
5. You can register for your Voter Identification Card online
6. You can vote early and they accommodate deployed soldiers
7. You can vote absentee online, through the mail or through fax
A Reason Not to Vote:
1. Your religious, political or philosophical beliefs find voting to be pointless, useless or detrimental.
